when im on the chat it will work fine for a while then it will just stop updating and will i will have to refresh to page to see what news stuff people said or even i said it really annoying id like this to get fixed im using Firefox 14.0.1

I am using Firefox 15 and it works fine... maybe you should update in case it is a Firefox bug?

If you click the Edit My Profile link, in the upper right hand corner is a Change Theme link. That will fix the colours, or you can use a custom css from another location. Chat seems to be fine here for everyone else, just make sure its up to date and try clearing out your caches.

DGM, the oneliner hangs for me in FF10esr sometimes behind a proxy; I reload the page to fix it. I looked at the problem in firebug once but couldn't figure it out. I think it might be related to the proxy, because the HTTP access pattern for the oneliner is not typical for HTTP, and I have had fewer problems when not behind a proxy. You could also try Chrome, which I have used not behind the proxy.
