Hi,

Just a brief post to explain a little bit about some of the site downtime we have been having. I apologize for the site having some technical problems over the last couple of weeks, which prevented some users from listening or being able to hear the streams. We have spent the weekend re-installing everything and are rolling!


We upgraded our web server software from Apache to LiteSpeed, in order to save on memory usage. Apache was crippling the site with its very heavy memory usage and now as we start to get a lot of people listening to the streams and checking out the site, that puts a massive load on the site. With LiteSpeed, the memory usage is drastically reduced and we can handle the traffic much more efficiently. I'd like to give a big thank-you to arab for assisting in the configuration process.

I have also acquired a 3rd VPS server this weekend so in the next few hours i'll get that set up and added to the streams list for everyone to use.
